At Booker T., we value the numerous ways our community can show up for us by sharing their Time, Talent, and Treasure. Here are a few specific ways you can get involved and support our work:

 

Donor Advised Fund

If you have a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) and would like to recommend Booker T. Washington Community Service Center for a grant, many DAF sponsoring organizations, including Fidelity and Schwab Charitable, have linked directly to our Booker T. Washington Community Service Center operating account to make grant recommendations even easier. We gratefully accept grants of all sizes. Please contact your DAF holder to recommend a grant to Booker T. Washington Community Service Center, Tax ID # 94- 1160952.

 

Matching Donations

Ask your company if they match employee donations or volunteer hours; you may be able to double or even triple the impact of your gift! Matching policies vary–some even include retirees and spouses.

 

Sponsorship Opportunities

Booker T.’s signature Bloom Ball event is our annual opportunity to join together with special guests, local leaders, community partners, and our generous funders to celebrate our steadfast commitment as an anchor institution and to honor our 107-year legacy in San Francisco. 

Join us in celebrating our impact, supporting our goals for the future and have some fun with our sneaker ball dress code — see you in October in your tux and Chucks, ball gowns and Uptowns!

Stock Donations

A gift of stocks or securities can be a powerful way to contribute to Booker T. Stock that has increased in value is one of the most popular assets used for charitable giving. Volunteer
