SUMMER DAY CAMP

The BTWCSC Summer Together Camp is an exciting, and safe community for your children to explore the outdoors, build self-esteem, develop interpersonal skills and make lasting friendships and memories. Arts and crafts, group games, STEM activities, and exciting trips will pack the summer days. Campers will be divided into the following age groups.

Camp Groups

Levels: Entering grades in August 2023

Nurture: Kinder-1, 1:10 ratio

Empower: Grades 2-3, 1:10 ratio

Inspire: Grades 4-5, 1:10 ratio

Innovate: Grades 5-8, 1:8 Ratio

Camper In Leadership Training: 9-12th

Program Fees: *scholarships available*

COST: Priority Registration: $50 deposit per session (non-refundable)
General Registration: $150 deposit per session (non-refundable)

Unleashing Potential

After School Program

The Booker T. Washington Community Service Center "Unleashing Potential Program" is a safe, fun and culturally relevant educational option for parents with children in grades K-8. It is an enhancement to a child’s regular classroom learning. The program provides a curriculum-based approach to academic support with a STEM and STEAM focus, mentors, literacy development; social-emotional development, positive play, character education, music, fitness, nutrition and field trips. We operate 5 days/week, Monday through Friday, from 2pm to 6pm, excluding holidays and school breaks.

The Booker T. Washington Middle School Program

The Booker T. Washington Middle School Program is a warm and nurturing environment for 6th – 8th grade neighborhood youth. Chibi Chan Too Preschool part of the new BTWCSC

Chibi Chan Too is excited to be a key part of the new BTWCSC, which will include a mixed-use space not only for Chibi Chan Too, but also 50 units of affordable housing, as well as services for youth and adults. The new site will allow Chibi Chan Too to serve an additional 36 children, with one classroom for two to three year-olds, and another for three to five year-olds.

Booker T. Washington Senior Wellness Program

Booker T. Washington Senior Wellness Program meets regularly to celebrate birthdays, organize social gatherings and discuss senior related issues. There is also a Booker T. Washington CSC Food Pantry, organized and staffed by our seniors. The pantry provides produce, bread, dry foods and can goods to families in need.
